Senior PHP Developer & Solutions Architect

We are looking for an experienced PHP developer and solutions architect who will help us make daily high impact decisions that shape the future of our company and our clients.  You will work with clients, gather requirements, propose and implement solutions and help onboard clients onto the webCOMAND platform.  You will also collaborate with our team to advance our core product and develop new features.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and develop websites, portals, and web apps using webCOMAND.
• Develop new features in the core webCOMAND product.
• Gather project requirements, provide system design guidance, and onboard clients.
• Work independently, with a team, and with clients.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Highly skilled with software design and OO PHP in a LAMP environment.
• Solid foundation in database design principles, SQL and query optimization strategies.
• Deep experience with CMSes, MVC frameworks, and APIs.
• Experience with industry best practices with development and deployment.
• Well versed in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Knowledge of AWS services is a plus.

This is a full-time remote position; our team is remote, with occasional in-person meetings and gatherings.  Must work from Ontario, Canada.  Proof of work authorization without sponsorship is required.
