webCOMAND

Features

Production & Staging

Any number of production and/or staging destination can be set up.  Each destination can be hosted locally or on a remote server.

Static & Dynamic Files

Publications can produce static and dynamic files.  Static files can be served efficiently from almost any hosting environment.

Dynamic files can leverage any programming or scripting language supported by the hosting environment.  webCOMAND APIs can be used to access repository content.

Time Locks

The repository and all content are conceptually frozen in time when a preview or publish process is started.  In other words, any changes made while a preview or publish is in progress will not be recognized.  This feature is critical to producing output across web pages and files that is consistent, no matter how long the process takes and what order files are produced.  This means that you do not need to worry about inconsistent information.
