Storage Engine - SQL will continue as primary/only storage. However, schema will evolve and break backward compatibility with COMAND Script 1.0 #SQL, which will be deprecated.
ACID Transactions - Support ACID transactions.
Projects - Projects to help with batch edits, including full redesigns.
Dimension/Variant Fields
Spreadsheets - Spreadsheet notation COMAND Script and more fluid spreadsheet interface/Ajax updates to calculated fields.
Storage Engines - repository will add NoSQL and file system support for hybrid databases where objects can be stored across all storage engines and even broken up across fields (ie video in file system, but others in NoSQL, but references in both NoSQL and SQL ContentReference table).
Generic ORM - Support for mapping traditional SQL databases and potentially other data sources (xml, csv, etc.) to objects.

COMAND 5.5 - New UI for real documents (Word) and hybrid spreadsheet / scripting / database object grids (Excel). Also multiple file fields for more natural "attachments" fields.
