webCOMAND 2.00 Released

New York, January 2004 - webCOMAND (www.webcomand.com), a powerful web content management and distribution solution, is dramatically improved with a new dynamic web interface and enhanced functionality. The second major release marks a giant leap forward in ease of use in content management.

Among the many enhancements, version 2.00 introduces:

Dynamic Web Interface
All content and system functionality is clearly organized and easy to access with the new web interface. The new tab menu logically groups features and functionality. The dynamic tree view enables quick navigatation of simple and complex content hierarchies without reloading the page. List view clearly displays more content in a wide list.

Integrated File Management
Easily manage files on the web server with the same interface used to manage all other content. No need for special FTP accounts or third-party client software. Files and directories appear in the tree view can be edited from the browser. View and download files, even if they're not web accessible.

User Roles
Organize user permissions and settings into roles that can be associated with any number of users. A user may be associated with multiple roles to clearly and quickly define what content, functionality and workflow a user may access and be a part of.
