webCOMAND 2.45 Released

COMAND Systems today released webCOMAND 2.45.  New functionality has been added to the software update process.

  • Software update process can now optionally upgrade the database after software is successfully upgraded, without the extra step.
  • Software upgrade process now checks custom interface themes to ensure new required images aren't missing.  If the custom theme is missing images, images are copied from the default theme.

The #IMAGE COMAND Script statement has also been improved:

  • The SetFormat processor can optionally set the image quality (1-100) of JPEG, MIFF and PNG files.  A lower number will result in higher compression and smaller file sizes.
  • "Get" processors now return an empty string and produce a publish note instead of an error, if the image data is not in a recognized format.  GetFormat does not produce a publish note so scripts can "quietly" test image data to see if it is in a recognized format.
