webCOMAND 2.53 Released

COMAND Systems released webCOMAND 2.53 today.  The new version is a small update that fixes a minor issue with the system administration notification system.

In the previous update, if a publish process took longer than the configured maximum publish time, an email notification was sent out properly.  However, if the publish process failed after the maximum publish time email was sent, a second alert was not sent out about the failure.  This is now fixed.

These notifications are useful when a potentially unreliable external script or program (such as a third-party search index or import/export script) is run as part of the publish process.  These external scripts may need to be monitored for undesirable behavior and/or failure conditions.
